CLEANCRETE NOSSIM TERRAZZO FLOOR
Following six months of collaborative product development with our partners, we have now been given the approval to proceed with the construction of the first Terrazzo floor based on our Oxacrete Nossim admixture. This marks the debut of a Cleancrete floor in a residential setting.

Since early 2023, Oxara and Repoxit, a renowned company in the Swiss flooring industry, have collaborated closely to pioneer a novel earth based Cleancrete Nossim Terrazzo floor. After a series of mock-up iterations, a satisfactory final result has been achieved.
After careful review by both the client and architects, it is now confirmed that the 45 sqm floor will be installed. The floor will be part of an apartment project by Baubüro Insitu at Ackersteinstrasse in Zurich, making it the first Cleancrete floor in a residential setting. The whole Oxara team is super excited about this accomplishment and is looking forward to the construction.
The journey, however, was not without its challenges. The intricate process of floor grinding presented obstacles that demanded careful navigation. Repoxit's expertise in traditional flooring and our specialised knowledge in handling clay-based materials led to the development of a comprehensive production protocol for the earth-based Terrazzo flooring.
