SBB Mobility Sharing Zones

The Office for Spatial Identity designed street furniture for the SBB Mobility Sharing Zones in the main stations of Zurich and Basel. The main goal: showing that a massive construction material does not necessarily have to emit massive CO2 emissions. 15 multifunctional street furniture elements cast with poured earth based on Oxacrete® Care were installed at the main stations of these cities in 2021 and 2022. They were designed to serve multiple functions within the sharing zone framework. Not only do they offer designated parking spots for eBikes and eScooters, but they also serve as convenient seating options, combining functionality with urban aesthetics.
