Single-family home Riehen

The Riehen single-family home exemplifies sustainable construction, incorporating innovative materials and circular economy principles, such as using excavation material to produce clay bricks.

Additionally, the project marks the first residential application of Oxacrete Oulesse®. The binder was used in the flooring, which was installed like a conventional cement screed, integrating seamlessly with the floor heating. Different finishes were applied to the 8cm thick floor in selected areas, such as traditional parquet flooring and polished terrazzo surfaces, demonstrating the material's versatility within the sustainable framework.
