STOOT

With the experimental pavilion STOOT Oxara demonstrated at Dubai Design week the architectural and structural potential of Oxacrete Oulesse®, Oxara’s cement-free binder. The installation offered a glimpse into the potential of sustainable construction by replacing conventional cement with a circular alternative that re-uses mineral construction waste. Made from construction demolition waste and industrial by-products, Oxacrete Oulesse® transforms what was once considered waste into a sustainable building material.

But STOOT was more than a technical demonstration: it raised timely questions about the overuse of cement, the environmental cost of traditional building practices, and the potential of urban mining. It invited planners and architects to rethink what’s possible when design and material innovation go hand in hand.
