Clay walls for a school house.
Clay walls for a school house.
In a school building in Confignon, Geneva, Oxara's cement-free poured earth technology has been used to build a non-load-bearing interior wall that demonstrates the potential of circular, low-carbon construction. The wall was built using three cubic metres of stabilised poured earth based on Oxacrete® Nossim - Oxara’s admixture for poured earth and clay-based materials. The mix includes sludge from excavation material, turning a common construction waste product into a valuable resource. With its raw, uncoated finish, the wall preserves the natural character of the material, offering both aesthetic appeal and a tangible expression of resource-conscious design.
